Not your dad's caddy....
This is by far, I think, the most interesting car of the show. I think the back seats are useless, might as well get rid of them and make a two door coupe with a useable hatch to keep the proportions on a production car. Nice work GM, I bet Rick wouldn't mind driving this back to washington.
Some cool features I think would be nice in this car given its futuristic design would be a thermal camera, ipod cradle :) , heads up display, and a multimedia interface a la BMW idrive and Audi's MMI.. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...ncept-co-2.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...cept-compu.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...ncept-co-1.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...ncept-co-3.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...nverjdd_09.jpg |
wow, looks nice
well the current CTS-V is already not your daddy's caddy. its an awesome performance car. handles great too.
True, but I think this one takes a step further for the brand.
This is the CTS coupe?
I thought I read something that this project was canned? Does look good though, like a practical gallardo. |
This is the Cadillac version of the chevy volt. The Converj is based on an improved powertrain over the volt.
the blue lights are purdy
the shift knob looks like a joystick
Lame.
the sensation im feeling is the same as falling asleep in geometry class back in high school.
Looks way to futuristic for my taste. I don't like the Honda Civic like dash and steering wheel, either. The current Caddy CTS-V's are sex. Wish I could afford to own and modify one properly.
looks too "smart-car" for me
:) gotta give credit where its deserved and these guys have earned it.
Eh, I see too many automakers adding the random lights in the console and things just for prettyness....they try too hard to look like the future of cars.
The volt's dash and console is operated by touch, so, something like this isn't too far off the real thing.
I just saw an ad for the Volt on t.v.
That's the car they don't make, and you can't buy, right? Seem like a good use of GM's bailout money? S |
Sounds like typical marketing to get the public talking.
That thing looks pretty clean
it looks too tall.
it needs to shorter. i like the interior though. |
Looks like a baby Cien, not bad, needs to be lowered to really mimic the Cien. I would drive it...:)
Not bad looking but a little to "cab-forward" for my traditional tastes. The overall concept (which is the point) is probably more impressive than the looks, though.
Can't wait to see it without all the bling that WILL NOT make it into production.
Looks cool now, but Itll look or be nothing like that off the assembly line. |
Exterior looks sweet. Interior, well I'm not into futuristic looks but you can't punish them for pushing that. I think car makers put in the back seats to lower insurnace rates for potential buyers? That is why my friend's dad bought a Lexus SC430 a few years back.
If anybody sees me driving one of these is authorized to cut my belongings :)

Thats' the car that first came to mind when I saw this thing. Check out the live picture, it looks like it has just enough headroom and the tire to body ratio is very good, no ugly gaps ..... |
