what will happen first:

Tesla goes 0-60 in 1.9sec
or
Tesla goes out of business?

the race is on!

They're saying 1.9 0-60 with what tires? what mechanisms will be in place to keep people from killing themselves or others during this probably extremely aggressive launches there will be idiots with cold tires saying watch this.

They're saying 250mph doubt it

They're saying 600 mile range must be some new awesome battery (batteries)

Tesla has promised the world but I'm a skeptic

I wont believe it till I see it. hyper loop looking at you

Looks like a giant ND MX-5 without a grille.

The front looks like the Model 3, and I really don't like that.

The "futuristic" steering wheel looks like a toy.

What kind of tires will be required? The same ones found on Veyron/Chiron?

As for the 250 mph, I think it's doable. EVs don't have drag from radiators, but I still wonder if an EV of this performance needs some cooling mechanism.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

The Model S P100D did 2.5sec iirc, with full interior, etc. There's at least one out there stripped down, no 0-60 or 1/4 times... But fun to watch :)

1.9 sec is within reach for sure.

250mph, 600-mile range - that will take better battery tech than they have now.

To me this is another one of Tesla's hype train claims. They haven't been able to stick to anything they claimed in regards to the model 3, so why would they with this?

By the time it comes out (if it ever does) it will be watered down and delayed for months or years. Tesla seems to do a few things well, but backing up its claims and targets is not one of them.

Wow. Very impressive feat from a company with a vision that’s not afraid to think in new ways. They’re like the Apple of cars.
