Nissan is looking at bringing back the Datsun name as the entry level cars like Scion is for Toyota. And although the Xlink is a RWD 4 door coupe much like our RX-8s, it was done by a design student as a project that a few engineers at Nissan of Taiwan helped with. It has as much chance of making production as the next RX-7. |

Uh, this was from a design student... yes, studying at Nissan design center, but still, there is nothing officially Nissan (or Datsun) about this. Just a student project.

A friend of mine bought the original 240Z when they first came out and still has it.

Not really they are two difrent series SX and ZX. for examole if you check http://www.edmunds.com/used/1991/nissan/ you will see they sold both at the same time that year... Anyways I think it looks nothing like what anybody would think a 240 should look like.
