Mercedes SLS stunt video, real or fake? and Clarksons?
SLS driving upside down in a tunnel .Well done real or not. Do you think the 2nd video from Top Gear is fake too?

Mercedes is clearly not entirely true, although cool and well done.
The Top Gear one certainly doesn't look fake. The only thing that makes me wonder is there isn't any slo-mo clips attached. You would think there would be. The rear doesn't follow the front around the tunnel, it seems to fall off, and only the twisting of the front keeps it from landing on it's back. Looks accurate from a physics point of view, although without slow mo, better lighting, or whatever, I can't call it. |
Top Gear's has falsities built in, at a minimum. Clarkson wasn't really driving, none of those in car shots were the real deal - there was no roll cage. Also, don't you think they would have had 5 billion replays if it were indeed clarkson, a la typical top gear style? Like RIWWP, why would they choose to not light it better either, they could have made a huge deal about this. The rolling up to shots aren't the same tunnel, the rolling away shots aren't the same tunnel, etc.

Dont really care if its real or fake, Its Badass, the best part of the SLS vid is the 'sound effect' when the doors open at the end, again do I care wether its a real sound ,,, nope,,, but its awesome,,,

I think the top gear is real, not necessarily hard to do in that kind of environment, he almost lost it if you watch closely.
