Note that exports from Japan to Europe exceed those to North America....remembering that the US has a Mazda/Ford plant in Flat Rock for the domestic US Mazda 6 production which is not included, those units would be in the Mazda Overseas Production.

Also how RX-8 production for the US and others on the 2006MY Vehicles caused those supply/waiting issues earlier this year.
