http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=730443

the thing is sick, i went through all the pages looking for photos cuz i was too lazy to read, its an amazing build

XDEEDUBBX 11-13-2007 03:47 AM

that fool is crazy

Rootski 11-13-2007 10:09 AM

Please tell me it's not still FWD. I can think of so many things wrong with that.

Socket7 11-13-2007 10:21 AM

Sleepers rule.

It's gonna be hard to disguise the sound of an LS1 as a 4 banger though.

c0ldf1ame 11-13-2007 03:46 PM

hahaha imagine a civic rolling up next to you and it has that v8 rumble

BigRed 11-13-2007 04:19 PM

thats awesome!

refugeefrompistons 11-13-2007 04:49 PM

 :greenchai: cant be serious putting a v8 in a ff. But, the person was smart enough to make it real wheel drive. Check out the transmission and extending drive shaft stretching out all the way to the rear axle. Nice sleeper. Should been put in a Kia or something like that imo though.

BigRed 11-13-2007 04:54 PM

also check out the burnouts he has on his pics and videos:) yea!

987HYS 11-13-2007 05:29 PM

imput1234 11-13-2007 05:47 PM

It's still a civic! lol

Wrong.

First off, welcome to a few months ago.

That being said, it's a corvette chassis with civic body on top...read more carefully.

rglbegl 11-13-2007 07:42 PM

That is why I still love the Honda guys . . . . they will try anything

WoodsOfGreenRx8 11-13-2007 07:58 PM

I saw that a few months ago. The flaming he goes through is pretty funny! Thats just an insane project..

this quote in that thread struck me in the heart :squint:

DOMINION 11-18-2007 09:47 PM

^LOL Chill man, thats just due to everyone doing LS1 swaps in FD's ;)

rotarygod 11-19-2007 01:18 PM

I'm sick of LS1 swaps into RX-7's too. Those who can, do. Those who can't, go piston!

tajabaho1 11-19-2007 01:23 PM

lol holy crap............yea, u will get flamed for trying something different on a forum XD

Where do you think you are, the 7 forum? That's the #1 response there. Apparently no one else has seen it so repost or not, it's new to most of us.

SlayerRX8 11-19-2007 05:37 PM

Yeah, Civette is a repost times a billion.

Also, there's a reason LS1's are so popular. Reliable + big power out of the box + lots of potential = The engine touched by god. :)

mike1324a 11-19-2007 06:11 PM

I want an LS1 powered toilet

And for the power, the MPG is pretty decent

rotarygod 11-20-2007 11:50 AM

When your engine turns so slow at cruise, of course your mileage is decent. Spin an engine half the size at twice the rpm and you get about the same mileage. That's why they don't do bad.

Al Czervik 11-20-2007 09:47 PM

crazy project

maybe the next thing we'll see is a mid engine civic
