The Jeep I learned to drive stick in, and carted me to Jr. High....

Well, the family Jeep is finally been handed to me (as of 2011), and I of course had to give it the Kane treatment. Now that it is about done I thought those of you that remember the Turbo Land Cruiser Build might appreciate my latest creation.

You dont rub with those large wheel/tire combo

Kane 05-02-2014 09:29 PM

Nope, the axles rotate out upon compression. The shackles are not linear they are more like L shaped.

See after Picture #3

Buckshot 05-03-2014 02:53 PM

I like the front bumper. 4.0 I assume?

Kane 05-03-2014 03:42 PM

Of course.

9krpmrx8 05-03-2014 04:11 PM

Nice man! I have three XJ's in my family :)

Very, very nice sir.
I like it a lot.

Buckshot 05-04-2014 09:00 AM

Did you do the bedliner yourself, or have it done? I wanted to do something similar to my old truck, but ended up selling it before I ever got the chance.

Kane 05-04-2014 09:05 AM

I had a shop spray it. They did a great job and got complete coverage, plus I get a lifetime warranty on it.

Nice jeep! here's a couple pics of mine that I owned a couple years ago. Ran it to 180,000 miles and finally got rid of it. I miss it...

Kane 05-04-2014 12:14 PM

Never get rid of guns, or Jeeps. It's like the law.

BlackhawkRX8 05-04-2014 01:43 PM

I know! I've been searching for another YJ or XJ for awhile now. Hard to find one around here not rusted to death.

RXeligion 05-04-2014 06:25 PM

Looks great in bedliner black. Do those cans work well for arm rests in the rear?

Kane 05-04-2014 06:27 PM

They are a little too tall for arm rests, but they work great for storage. I put all my mechanical stuff in one, and first aid stuff in the other.

My Memorial Weekend Projects....why mount an M4 in the Jeep? Because America that's why!

Trimmed fenders a bit - we'll see how they go. I"m hoping to put off ordering the Bushwacker flat ones for a few months.

hoosier1104 05-28-2014 01:17 PM

Is that a SA I spy under the front?

9krpmrx8 05-28-2014 02:30 PM

I would hope so, it's a Wrangler.

SA? Do you mean solid axle? Yeah, all Wranglers have Solid front and Rears.

Yep, for now :(

WaitingforFI 05-28-2014 03:38 PM

It's my understanding that it's pretty much impossible to lift a new Cherokee. fail.

jasonrxeight 05-28-2014 04:51 PM

not digging the rims but the rest is pretty sweet.

RXeligion 05-28-2014 04:54 PM

You got suckered into a GSG-5 as well, eh? Only gun I've ever sold!:banghead:
I like the M-4 mount. How is the location relative to your knee?

It's an actual licensed H&K MP5 built by Walther. Great little gun.

There isn't any interference with my knee. I did have to trim the door to make it fit though.

Hi Kane. I love my jeep. :) I'm looking at putting fuel hostage rims on 35' or the ballistic jester rims. What size are your wheels? 37"??
