The Jeep I learned to drive stick in, and carted me to Jr. High....
Well, the family Jeep is finally been handed to me (as of 2011), and I of course had to give it the Kane treatment. Now that it is about done I thought those of you that remember the Turbo Land Cruiser Build might appreciate my latest creation.

You dont rub with those large wheel/tire combo
|
Nope, the axles rotate out upon compression. The shackles are not linear they are more like L shaped.
See after Picture #3 |
I like the front bumper. 4.0 I assume?
|
Of course.
|
Nice man! I have three XJ's in my family :)
|
Very, very nice sir.
I like it a lot. |
Did you do the bedliner yourself, or have it done? I wanted to do something similar to my old truck, but ended up selling it before I ever got the chance.
|
I had a shop spray it. They did a great job and got complete coverage, plus I get a lifetime warranty on it.

Nice jeep! here's a couple pics of mine that I owned a couple years ago. Ran it to 180,000 miles and finally got rid of it. I miss it...
|
Never get rid of guns, or Jeeps. It's like the law.
|
I know! I've been searching for another YJ or XJ for awhile now. Hard to find one around here not rusted to death.
|
Looks great in bedliner black. Do those cans work well for arm rests in the rear?
|
They are a little too tall for arm rests, but they work great for storage. I put all my mechanical stuff in one, and first aid stuff in the other.

My Memorial Weekend Projects....why mount an M4 in the Jeep? Because America that's why!

I"m hoping to put off ordering the Bushwacker flat ones for a few months. |
Is that a SA I spy under the front?
|
I would hope so, it's a Wrangler.

SA? Do you mean solid axle? Yeah, all Wranglers have Solid front and Rears.
Yep, for now :( |
It's my understanding that it's pretty much impossible to lift a new Cherokee. fail.
|
not digging the rims but the rest is pretty sweet.
|
You got suckered into a GSG-5 as well, eh? Only gun I've ever sold!:banghead:
I like the M-4 mount. How is the location relative to your knee? |

I like the M-4 mount. How is the location relative to your knee? There isn't any interference with my knee. I did have to trim the door to make it fit though. |

Hi Kane. I love my jeep. :) I'm looking at putting fuel hostage rims on 35' or the ballistic jester rims. What size are your wheels? 37"??
