Interesting concept
|
Starts at $37,800.00
Nahhhhh....... Too goofy for me. |
I agree it's a little pricey.
But I think it's a really neat concept for a fun fuel efficient commuter car. I wonder how it would perform in an autocross, since it's narrow, light, the front wheel has obviously high negative camber and it can tilt fast (85 degrees per second). |
I wouldn't want to commute in that car next to behemoth SUVs.
|
I wouldn't want to commute in an unstable SUV next to a big rig. :D
It's still safer than a motorcycle. (Btw talking about safety, I have never seen so many people driving motorcycles with more than 100 HP and not wearing appropriate gear (boots, suits etc.) as I've seen in the US). |
Pretty cool. It looks like a motorcycle with a body. If it's really $37K US I'd say that's about $20K too much.
|
The advantage of a three wheeler compared to a motorcycle is that you can actually slide with the vehicle without losing control (most people can't slide with a motorcycle without losing control).
|
Any slide on a motorcycle and I'd lose control -- and I'm not talking about the motorcycle.

620 kg = What in pounds?
It needs more power!!! 8.6 seconds to 60-62 isn't fast enough to make that enough fun to justify almost 40K. |
It weighs 1367 lbs.
I agree it should have more power, than it would be really interesting. I would also fit wider tires, so that it'll have more rubber per weight than a Corvette C6 or a Lotus Elise. Since it has a turbocharged engine there might be some room to tune it. Where btw did you find the pricing information? I generally still prefer the carver concept over the ecomobile concept, which has a nice power to weight ratio though (190 HP engine and weighing only 800 lbs (!)). http://www.peraves.ch/monoe.htm |
