The fact the the RX-8 doesnt have a b-pillar should not scare people anyway. my dad's f150 has no b-pillar and I hardly think its an issue (yes i am aware that the f150 is much bigger than the RX-8). Once you in the car and drive you won't even notice the difference and forget that the pillar isnt there.

When you are involved in a front impact accident that will cause the airbags to deploy, you won't have time or inclination to pay attention to where your hands are!

I'm tring to train myself to do the 4-5 & 7-8 position, I've got the 3 & 9 down most of the time, but I offen find myself back at the 2 & 10 ... Anyway, I asked a saleman at Mazda - and he said "just before you hit, take you hands away fro the wheel." And I said, "Sadly I'd be holding it tighter..." :( |
