Ideally which is the best side to have the gas cap?
thanks

Kerb-side....that way you won't get hit by passing traffic when you refill with your jerrycan on the side of the road.....

Drivers side, fewer gas pumps taken out that way!

The same side the gas pumps are on...

dont really care mate, i'd just want every car manufactory to have the fuel caps on the same bloody side. when i had my jap and euro cars at the same time, i could never remember which side it is on...... same with the bloody indicator stick

Ezzy, there is a little arrow on your fuel gauge pointing to the side of the car the fuel cap is on....if you forget, you can look at the gauge before you pull up at the pump...

I don't guess it matter to me, as long as I know. I am glad everyone's isn't on the same side, that would be terrible. I have the '8 and a Mustang (Mustang has gas cap on Passenger side with no indicator). I used to always drive the '8 except maybe once a week, and that once a week I would try to get gas on the wrong side every time.

flatso came out of the lounge! holy crap!

I'd prefer both sides like the older Lotus Esprits and Jags.
That was the best idea they ever had. I guess they needed to make up for the "invention that would change the automotive world" called a positive ground ignition. |
Both sides....but in the front. Porche style.

Driver side so you if you forget to put the cap back on or close the lid you will see it in the sideview mirror. Also easier to judge the distance to the pump.
