I'd invest the money back in the business. Million dollar cars are a waste of money.

Believe it or not, cars are not my #1 priorty. But they are sure tempeting. Thats what Mr Schuttemeyer said to me after I told him that. Here is what I really what when I grow up. Just a Aston Martin Vanquish Silver just like this one.

mpt_yellowRX8 11-19-2004 01:25 AM

I like the British Racing Green on the Vanquish personally.

Sounds like somebody is counting their chickens before they are hatched. ;)

Gomez 11-19-2004 05:38 AM

Mate, go the Enzo..... at least you'll be able to catch it if it gets sideways! The F40 will be a tougher proposition in my professional opinion :) .

Gomez.

TyrellCorpNexus8 11-19-2004 06:49 AM

What in the hell is his product? Will it increase horsepower AND grow hair back? I hope he succeeds BUT I would like to know the product.

350black 11-19-2004 08:31 AM

Having a Ferrari will be the greatest experience of your life. I have a lowley 360 and I love the thing.

If you have a chance at the Enzo go for it. It is the nicest car out there. The F40 does not do that much for me. I love my Modena and would not trade it for the world.

You do know that to be considered as an owner of the Enzo, Ferrari mandates that you have owned three Ferraris in the past. Which three cars have you owned, do you have any pics?? I can never get enough Ferraris.

devoid 11-19-2004 08:54 AM

I think you should go with that ENZO....it would give you the best MPG...but you wouldn't be able to pick up any woman, unless they sat in your lap! :D

VikingDJ 11-19-2004 09:05 AM

Even if I could afford it, I don't think I'd ever buy a car I couldn 't drive daily, and use on regular basis. Do you know of anyone who puts 15-20k miles a year on a ferrari enzo? I have a neighbor with a Diablo, that has 1300 miles on it in like 8 years of ownership. I ask myself. WHAT IS THE POINT?

canaryrx8 11-19-2004 09:06 AM

Enzo? have you owned both an f40 and an f50 and been invited to buy one? or is it coming from a private seller who is a moron for getting rid of one of, if not the most exclusive car out there? Wait for C6-z06 or go woth a Ford Gt, you could also grab a Saleen S7, it's numbers are pretty close to the F1 but it's a 1/4 of the price. If it were me, I'd put it in the bidness and take care of myself/family/etc for life first, then go grab a cool car, house, etc. after that.

crossbow 11-19-2004 10:02 AM

Remember that ferrari's are investments, and generally hold their value, or increase in value over time...they are not like normal vehicle purchases.

That being said, the F40 is one of the greatest car's ever made...but you REALLY NEED to know how to drive to own one. It "WILL" kill you otherwise. Its a true drivers car. Ultra light, ultra fast, and absolutely no computers butting their heads in.

Whatever you do...if you get an F40...don't put it in a garage. Thats roughly equivilant to catching a wild siberian tiger and throwing it in a cage too small for it to move around in.

If you are buying it privatley, and I think that there is only one for sale in the US, used, the owner is selling it for 1.1 million. But like I said before you can not just walk into a Ferrari dealer and buy an Enzo. I am calling BS on this. If you can afford a nice car get the 360, or wait for the 430. The 430 in the yellow is beautiful.

I love my Modena, but I would give it up for the 430. And yes they do hold their value well, I bought mine as a 2001 last summer, and put two thousand miles on it since, and I could still get at least what I paid for it.

You might consider the Bentley Coupe to compare with the Aston.

I don't want to stray off topic, but I was just reading F-chat and stumbled across this thread:

http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthr...0&page=3&pp=20
I rememberd seeing those pics before, and a quick search revealed this thread on this site:
https://www.rx8club.com/general-automotive-49/350z-40800/

Now, 350Black, on F-chat you claim it is your freinds ferrari and he left it too you for a few weeks:

My friend was nice enough to let me borrow the car for a few weeks, when he got back into town it was very hard for me to get back in my 350Z, it made that car feel like a go cart.
BUT, on this site you claim multiple times that you own the car:

Too name a few, I am not going to call you a liar, but what the hell??

This line of yours made me chuckle:

Bump for detective shiggins. Another one bites the dust?

(Guess he didn't really win the lottery either.)

Kid_Icarus 11-27-2004 01:17 PM

Shiggins you're the man. So when are they going to make a csi like show about you and your detective skills. Of course they are going to keep the crime fighting monkey as your side kick right?

Elara 11-27-2004 03:35 PM

Isn't this the second time this has happened on here?

Speed-ER doc 11-28-2004 01:27 AM

I don't get it. He even posted on the rx8club forum that he was borrowing the car, then changed his story to it was his car.

He hasn't posted since you outed him....I'd like to hear his explanation.

truemagellen 11-28-2004 01:44 AM

that was a good laugh for the night :)

It coming soon: Control Systems: Look at the date of the email.
Not only will this all natural formulation regrow and thicken your hair but it also elliminated dandruff or even Psoriasis, the skin diease that produces extra skin. It itches and sometime cuts the skin open. Not something to be happy about. But here I come with proof and documentation plus investors like Mr Schuttemeyer from Koenigsegg USA and his Doctor friend who owns a bid place in Montana. Thats where he can open up his personal Koenigsegg or his Ferrari 360. Wow!! Its coming. Thanks for your interest in my company. I also have a special formulation that will enhance the male experiance to allow us men to continue after we are normally done. Get yoyr wifes and girlfriends ready, They will LOVE this formulation.

Dear Moses:

I expect to get the Shampoo and Conditioner this week, as soon as I have them
I will confirm and prepare to get it to you.

____________________________________

Here are a couple of questions:

Do you have a name for your product or doe we have to create one?

Do you have labels for your product or do I have to create them?

We will get between 5 and 10 Gallon in total product,
can you fill that in 8 ounce bottles?

Do you have 8 ounce bottles?

If not, do you want me to get them ?

How long will it take for you to give us +/- 90% of the enhanced product
back?

____________________________________

We have to sign documentation to tie us together,
if we continue with this deal, is that OK with you?

Please let me know how you envision our future joint venture,
partnership or however you want to call it.

Sincerely,

Michael
