I know its late in the season, but we had our first car show. Dani was super excited for the event, even though we had been out drinking till about 2AM for our Brother In Laws 21st. We were entered in the 2000 or newer class, Modified. Wasn't very much there for newer cars. A lot of classics. We were up against some Mustangs, a Honda & a Vette or two. All the judges seemed pretty pleased with the car, even with stock interior & not too many visual mods as we did a lot of suspension work. ( Forgot to make a sign to let people know the modifications & therefore a lot of people thought she was pretty much stock ) It was a great day & lots of nice cars. Well in the end, Dani lost out to a guy with a 07' California Special Mustang whom added a Kenne Bell supercharger/intake/intercooler. :spank: She was pretty bummed & even a bit upset. Both the Vette & another Mustang had more custom work to their vehicles, yet I guess some one thought that a Supercharger is god, they won. Very disappointing. After trophies were handed out, Dani proceeded to talk with one of the judges & try to get an explanation on how he actually won took home the Modified trophy. Sad thing was, hopes were pretty high because one judge said he thought we were Best of Class & another guy was a huge Mazda fan & really enjoyed the car. Of course, they could have been pulling our leg, but who knows. Either way it was a bit frustrating.

So next year Ill make sure to throw on a supercharger so we win! :lol2:
