Driving Gloves?

Can someone recommend a good brand of driving gloves. I started wearing gloves outside for the cold weather, and have also been using them while I'm driving. I like the grip they give me on the steering wheel, but these gloves aren't designed for driving and are a little too thick. So I wanted to buy some proper driving gloves but there are a lot of brands out there, any recommendations?

Go to your local leather shop or mall outlet. A $20 set of thin leather gloves should keep your hands warm without much loss of tactile response.

the funny thing is everytime I am driving incredibly fast I always seem to ALSO be wearing these gloves! even when a "wet substance" is on them they are fine!

i find latex gloves are too grippy, stick to the wheel when i take my hands off. I was handed down a 30 year old pair of deerskin gloves that my dad used to drive an opel ascona through germany. Incredible stuff, feels like almost nothing on my hands and so much grip...however i may need to buy a new pair, perhaps i may use WR gloves, they are designed to grip leather after all.

Go to a local motorcycycle shop. They have riding gloves that are grippy.

better yet, go to a well stocked bicycle shop. You will be amazed at the selection.

now that you mention, one time i was fooling around with my friends when i had my integra and would drive on the highway during the day. whenever we'd come to a red light, id put on a full out racing helmet with tinted glass shield and all and look over at the other driver. it never failed to make them crack a smile. :) man i had a lotta free time that day.
