Detroit Woodward Dream Cruise
For those who know and for some of those who don't, this weekend was the Woodward Dream Cruise here in Detroit.
This is the 10th year of the dream cruise where car lovers hit about 15 miles of Woodward Avenue (the first real road in Michigan, hence the name M1). It is predominately older cars and some newer ones. The attendance along Woodward this year was supposed to be around 2 million people. I personally saw about 15 out of state licencse plates (yes, they come from all over for this event!). Here are my pics from the cruise, some old and some new. Enjoy! http://www.ofoto.com/BrowsePhotos.js...y=-gmgl44&Ux=0 And an article from the Detroit Free Press about the cruise: http://www.freep.com/news/latestnews...0_20040822.htm Also as a side note, it took 3 hours to go 5 miles  |
not bad, looks like a lot of fun, how did the Gt sound?

Like an F16 at full throttle.. I'm not kidding either, the thing sounds like a fighter jet.
