Coolant leak

So I drove to work today and when I got out I was talking to a buddy of mine for about 20 minutes then when I walked in the front of my car I noticed a decent sized puddle of antifreeze under my car, is this normal or should I worry?

Should u?
I don't see why u shouldn't if your car is leaking anything.
Fix the leak asap or u might overheated and get a new motor.

I took my car in about two weeks ago. They said that I was leaking coolant and replaced my reservoir tank.

well the air codnitioner can some times create a puddle of water that makes it look like the car is leaking someting.

But poster said it is coolant. If you are sure then no .. a good sized pudle of coolant is not good.
Coolant tank is common problem.
Fixd mine with glue gun.

Leaks generally aren't supposed to happen...

I wouldnt worry however I'd take a look right away at it to resolve the issue. It could be something as simple as a loose fitting around a hose (which I have seen happen a couple times) Did you see where it was leaking from?

Not being worried about leaks is a recipe for disaster.

Ha Ha Ha...period.

Anyway, the only thing i know that leaks underneath that is normal is the moisture from the air conditioning whenever you use it.

I know what you were TRYING to get across, but it didn't work. :banghead:

Yes, find out why it's leaking.
There are any number of things it could be. Hoses, radiator, crack in coolant bottle, stuck thermostat and coming out of overflow hose....................etc.
None are good.
Find out why.
