Concept E Eclipse

I have mixed feelings about, but probably a step in the right direction.

My first thought when I saw the concept was that I hated it. Bu the more I look at it, the more I like it.
It could be a step in the right direction if Mistu brings it to production correctly.

Bring back the 4G63!!!

I really don't see that happening. The Evo is now the AWD turbo 4 banger that the Eclipse once was and the Lancer Ralliart now fills the hot, under $20k price range. I don't know where the Eclipse is supposed to go.

Not bad looking, but it looks like they made it a 2 seater (unless they have some really cramped seats back there) and that kinda changes the class its in.

Well this car is nice in the respect it has 400 or so hp. It is also awd and the engine combination is unique. I believe there is like a 200hp engine driving the front wheels and a 200hp electric engine driving the rear. I think it would b neat if that made it in2 production, and would completely change the class it is in, but i really doubt that this will b taken 2 market. It could show Honda and Toyota a thing or two about how hybrids are supposed 2 b done . Just think how much torque that electric engine could put 2 the rear wheels...

Yes well i was referring to the Hondas in production, i think they have 0-60 times of greater than rx8 1/4mi times, but the dualnote seems like a step in the right direction at least. Mayb they are looking at something for the next NSX.

I like it a lot! I might even go on the record as loving it ...

I even wish they keep the hybrid engine for the production model (but I don't believe they have the guts) ... but make it a true 2+2 fastback/hatchback

(I'm also am a fan of the looks of the Saturn Curve - which, to me, looks like a cross between an old Ford Probe and an RX-8)
