Install looks easy as pie to be honest, just one wire needs to be cut and 3 others need to be tapped into. They give you the taps and a full set of instructions.

oh sweet, thanks man. and does it say/list exactly what this does or how sensitive it is? it is just for tilt/rocking the car (ie from jacking it up)? or does it do more than that?
sorry if that's a dumb question. i don't even know what the oe alarm does, ha ha |

Well to be quite honest, I just purchased the add on shock senor for the car. After spending some time and reading up, it seems thats the best option. Like many have said, the other alarms are nice and flashy, but there are always ways to get around them.
i really wouldn't worry about the car itself getting stolen because of the lack of demand for aftermarket and oem rx8 parts, not to mention the engine immobilizer. usually at best you would probably attract someone stealing just for a joy ride. |
