Any service similar to Carfax?
 

Is there some other service that provides Carfax-like information based on VIN? something that is preferably:
- reliable (more or less, like Carfax)
- cheaper (Carfax report costs already $35)
- available to use with a foreign (non-American) credit card? So for someone who wants to buy a car imported from the US but wishes to check the car's history before purchase.

Its 29.99 for a report, carmax uses it. Or you can pay 44.99 for unlimited reports for 30 days.

The only problem is that just like Carfax, this also appears to take only US or Canadian credit cards (according to the billing address).

Can you just get a paypal account and link the credit card to it? Even if they dont accept paypal you can get a credit card that deducts money from your paypal.

^ That, or a prepaid card/gift card should work.
