2010 Mazda3 hatch back opinion
Looking to get a Mazda3, Hatch back(5 dr) In Cels. Blue, Auto(I cant get Manual ...), With Tech and Moon Package.
Hmm. Anybody has The 2010 Mazda3 hatch ? What are your opinions about it ? Any noticeable weak points like door panel rattles or stuff like that? Thanks |
I've only seen it, not sat in it. It's 95% Japanese content, like the original, so I'm sure it's made much better than the 6.
Of course with a first-year redesign, you won't know what problems will arise 2 or 3 years down the road. Why not try to get a good deal on a leftover 2009? |

My parents have the 2010 hatch. It's nice and solid. I thought the mkI 3 was a wonderful car. MKII is even better! The gaping maw is something that folks will come to accept it. Much like when Audi first came out with the large yawn with their models years ago.
Interior quality is first rate. Certainly class leading. |

I sat in one last week in the showroom (while waiting for Kevin to test my 8's engine ... lol)
Interior is ok. Its smaller but better looking than my Honda FIT. and of course the outside looks 100x times better (I dont really like the "Smiley" front tho ...) Gonna go test drive it this saturday (the day which I hope the car will be done). See what happens. |
I've come to accept and even like the 'smile' in real life.
Paul. :) |
Hmm ... Autoexe bumpers maybe? ROFL
but but but it will be in automatic transmission ... I just dont see a point of doing any upgrades to a regular auto tranny car ... -_- |
If you can get past the front end, it is a better car. I sat in an 2010 and thought it looked good cept for the front. The interior seemed nicer than the 6.

Paul. :) Don't get me wrong I do not mind it..though I think it has been "Overdone", it is too radical, Laurens should have made it similar to the RX-8, the 5 point grille is too large with too much detail for public acceptance. I have been following the Media's reaction world wide and is is not very favorable, many Journo's hate it and the clear "cheap" tail lights. No wonder Laurens van the man quit, could have been forced to?...now he is Renaults Problem., after all this is his First Mazda (as design Boss) that has made production! |

Put it this way- the interior of the 3 has the same solid feel that the RX8 has. |

That ain't hard to do. I only ever sat in/test drove a 1st-gen 3, but the difference between it (Japan built and assembled) and the 6 (god only knows where- could be USA/Canada/Mexico/all of the above) is night and day. The Mazda 6, even post-redesign, reeks of low-end American car.
