Sounds a bit strange, unless the 1.6 rotary can equal the MS3 power output/mileage or it's the hybrid offering. Prob wild speculation... but you never know....

very strange that they would say it so outright.
I'm naturally skeptical of course, but didn't i read that they now have developed a rotary FWD setup from the hybrid premacy? So i suppose it might be remotely possible.

What's next... a rotary in a minivan?

RE-3 might actually make sense. Not in the US Market (tho there are some places that could support it) but places in Europe and Asia could probably support it.

it would be an Rx-3. For a year now the kabura is rumored to be a new mx-3/rx-3. you have to admit the kabura resembles the size and shape of the last mx-3. Maybe thats what is going to happen.
We will have the 4 door mazda3 and the return of the mx-3 coupe offered with a rotary engine option as the rx-3.

After Car & Driver's initial test of the GT-R, I lost respect for them and sent them a model of a 1958 Nash Ambassador and told them to stick something more in their class.
