Bolt-on 6-speed manual with 150 shot of nitrous.

Mods:
1-7/8 long tube headers, catback exhaust, custom cold air intake, tune, 90mm plate nitrous system.

Stock cam, engine, clutch, transmission and suspension.

Running 16x3 skinnies in front with 315/30/18 drag radials in back.

10.96 @ 125mph with a 1.64 60ft :worship:

I'm adding up the approximate prices for those mods...

$1200 for headers
$500 for a custom intake
$1000 for a nitrous systems
$800 for a catback
$2500 for that wheel/tire combo
$500 tune

Install the parts yourself and you have a 10 second capable Camaro for $6500

Im glad to see they ae actually modding these cars. you dont see that much with the vettes.

Man that isnt bad at all!!! american cars are sure stepping up the game. They get ok gas mileage as well. not to bad considering what our 8's get.
I do believe a mandatory mod for it is a nice coilover system. thing looks like a boat when it goes into turns. With a nice set up im sure it will be a good competitor

Oh dude. Don't see modded Vettes??? Theyre out there all over the place... SO many aftermartket options for them.

Many of the forced induction LS3 2008+ Vette mods will translate over to the Camaro SS without too much trouble, so they WILL have big power mods out the waazzooo very soon.

Tuning isn't a problem at all. Numerous laptop based options that reflash the PCM are available, as they have been since the LS1.

A little more info on the 10 second Camaro...

N/A it dyno'd 427 rwhp. They haven't done a dyno on the spray yet, but with a 150 pill, they think it's right at 575 rwhp.

575whp isn't that power much considering it made a 10 second pass with a race weight of 3820 lbs.

the ls3 man love that thing can only imagine the camaro with the ls9 they put in it lol that thing is a real beast ...

its cool to each his own ... the reason i got a camaro is its way cheaper ... cheaper to insure ... has 4 seats and is currently more unique i LOVE how it looks ... lowered mine put some sider rims on her and its sooo sexy IMO so i guess to each his own but the cheaper insurance and 4 seats won me over ...

dammnn timed it on my phone multiple times and looks like his 0-60 time was 4.3seconds (guaged from his 1st and 2nd shift (possibly even faster since i dont know the mph per gear)
so i think it would be safe to assume that his 60 time could possibly be 4 seconds flat.

my 60 time is around 4.6 single run just to see not perfected ... so its safe to say hes around a 4

wooow i was wrong its muuch faster that that, if you watch this video apparently the camaro has a much longer gear ratio. first gear ends maybe at 55 mph then the beginning of second hits 60mph.

so maybe this guys 60 is in 3 seconds. i timed it again but this is strictly by estimation. no hard evidence what so ever.

Um WHAT?! I modded the hell out of my Vette, drove it every day and tracked it regularly. Sometimes actual car guys buy nice cars.

Yah, so just to let you guys know, a high 10 second Camaro will have a 0-60 of around 3.3 seconds. It's at least solidly in the low to mid 3's.

Think about it. A Corvette ZR1 does 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and does the quarter in 11.2 at 130 mph, a slower ET than the Camaro, but a higher trap.
