Hmm. Looks like a couple missing pictures to me.

It's decent, but current BMWs are not sexy to begin with in the first place.
This is a concept. Who cares who has the best looking concept? I care what actually gets produced. And besides, BMW's have always been boring looking cars. I always think of BMW's as the Civics of the luxury world. Then again, faux wood paneling never enticed me very much so I'm probably not the best judge.
thats actually why i like bmws, because they dont scream, LOOK AT ME! but they handle amazing and are great cars, so I can enjoy driving them and chill.
Honda has confirmed that the production 08 coupe will be almost identical to the concept above.
If so, it's a damn fine looking vehicle, with 275+ horses, for what should be around $26,000. If they'd offer AWD it would be an Audi slayer. |
It's ok, looks like an Eclipse and a S15 Silvia mated.
When Japanese Mainstream Cars Trump $90,000 Bimmers In Looks Yeah, also funny how this vanilla-sedan-based coupe trumps a certain japanese (so-called) sports car in looks AND power. |
for some reason, the front reminds me of a audi. i cant remember the name of the car maybe it was TT but whats the other audi that suppose to vs the porchce?
The front is ugly. Scion Tc'ish. The looks just don't mesh well, all around. But, it's not hard to beat BMW in the looks dept, currently. An Accord is a far stretch from even the most humble BMW in the driving dept. So it remains a ho hum family car. Dress a dog in a tux, and it's still a dog. :)
I think it looks pretty slick. I see a little Volvo in there somewhere, in the grill maybe.
I really like the looks. If Honda offers it with SH-AWD, I'd hit it!
Nice looking car!

Bet that thing can pull a tight ass fwd wheelie.
Looks good...only problem is it's an Accord, which translates into you'll see a million of them on the road. I'd prefer something a little more--special...something like an RX-8 :P...
Man thier styling is sooo derivative. They've been stealing cues from BMW for years... now they borrow from Hyundai. Seems to show Hyundai has come a long way.
Front end looks like a Honda copying a Hyundai that was trying to copy an older Camry. Back end looks like a well-done version of the new Altima's nightmarish taillights though.

Pretty good I think, but if they could only get rid of that FWD problem......
Two things..
1. Looks too chubby for me.. 2. FWD |
It definitely reminds me of the new eclipse. The high ass and sloping door lines really bother me.
At least they've gotten away from the terrible 'slab sided' 1-dimensional look that current Accords and low end Acuras have. To me it looks soooo bland, almost unfinished, and definitely cheap. Here they've sculpted the thing to have some ... some... well something curvey at least. Make the coup RWD and they might have something. Until then, well, just another powerful FWD transport capsule.
Looks like a Pontiac G6 humped a Ford 500!
I hate the new European bumper and hood height regulations! I know they're supposed to make cars more "pedistrian friendly" but as far as I'm concerned, bi-peds should stay the hell out of the streets. If you're dumb enough to run in front of a car or truck, you deserve what you get. These new regs make all of the "one car for the world" products look like shit in the front! |

The frount looks like a Scion to me. A three-way with a G6, 500, and a Scion. Now that is just sick.
I'm not crazy about the front, either. It definitely looks like a cross between a Scion and a Volvo.
From all other angles, however, I think it looks fantastic. With a snickety-snick Honda 5 speed (or 6 speed) manual, nice V6, and hopefully, AWD, this could be quite the car. |

they dindt make the accord coupe in manual from 00-03 i beilieve? correct me if im wrong.. but i think 04-current with the newer body styles you can get the manual transmission w/ the v6..

???? There is no such thing as a "good" FWD manual. Linkage=bad Honda has one "good" tranny and it happens to be the same one that is in the '8. |

i think you're right about the clsness. semms like they were trying for that. but somehow got confused along the way. and whats with the tiburon side sculpting? nice looking but a bit jumbled- not quite pulled together. |
FYI, you can get a 6mt accord coupe or sedan with the 3.0 v6 ( most are autos), if the v6 badge on the rear is red it is a 6mt. 275 is easy right now, the tl type s has a 3.5 286 v6. Same motor, .5 liter bigger and tweeked ecu, so the leap is already been done. I have drove a 08 sedan with a 4 and the auto, The interior is much nicer than the o7's. I also noticed quite a few onther thingd, but I cant say ;)
