2008 FORD FALCON (RWD) Australia
|
Yet another car Ford should bring over to the States but won't. The car looks aggressive as all friggin' hell. Bring it over as the Falcon or hell rename it the Crown Vic I dont give a shyt haha.. again it looks mean and just flat out awsome. Now this has annoyed me for awhile, America is supposed to be home of the badass cars.. but yet we are getting the washed out stripped down sissy versions if anything at all. AU and EU seem to be home of the badass cars now especially AU with Holden. With our luck they'll release a MS8 but it will only be released in AU and EU.

Here is some news HOT OFF the press....
Ford Australia is to close their GEELONG Engine Manufacturing plant for good.. 600 workers given the boot. They are going to "import" their 6 cylinder engines....don't know where from? The US? or China? or Europe? |
Japan.

Fom Mitsubshi with love. My thoughts exactly, I think, I mean it looks VERY similar to the new Lancer. |

definately an awesome looking car. Last I heard on the engine plant shutdown was that the new engines being imported were a V6 as opposed the current straight 6. Still cant find any info on where the new engines will come from.

More than 400 horsepower eh?

Yea, i totally agree with Clavius... the falcon is super nice and would really up the reputation Ford has in our country, but for some reason Ford non-America dislikes coming to here un-spoiled. Such a shame... I mean, we do have the Mustang and GT500 (which could see competition with the falcon) but really, they have everything to gain and not much to lose.
