2004 RSX Type-S Turbo WARRANTIED BY DEALER!

If Acura can do it, why not Mazda? :D

cause mazda hasn't made a turbo for the 8 yet

Mugatu 02-23-2005 09:36 AM

either has Acura. the turbo is a GReddy turbo put in by the initial owner.

Gambit 02-23-2005 09:48 AM

Given the stellar treatment most people seem to get from mazda service, I'm sure they would be happy to warranty all aftermarket turbos.

Mugatu,

And its only "one dealer". Aka of you take it to another acura dealer other then that one, your sol and under the mag-moss act.

There are a few mazda dealers out west that do this with flying miatas. Install the kits, and warranty it. Of course the cost of those modified miatas are pretty high, but most people are willing to shell out $$$ for the magical warranty.

Xyntax 02-23-2005 10:24 AM

Not after their terrible issues with the past RX-7s! They'll be hesitant to honor warranties to boosted rotaries now.

Is the terrible torque steer an additional option or standard as well? :D

NomisR 02-23-2005 11:15 AM

That RSX would be a bitch to drive, I get enough wheel spin with the RSX stock, can't imagin how bad it is with the turbo.

dmp 02-23-2005 11:20 AM

Mazda Australia has been selling/sold dealer-installed and warranteed Miata turbos for awhile. :)

truemagellen 02-24-2005 01:47 AM
