UV cut glass
 

Hi folks, need your advise on something. Actually my 8 has UV-cut glass for the back as it's a JDM model. It's actually 50% UV cut glass so I was told by the dealer that I don't need to do any more Vcool or film etc.

It looks pretty dark and tinted but is it true that 50% UV cut glass is the same as Vcool or Hyper Optic 50% protection? If so then I'll save my money lor.

Tried to find info in the forum on UV-cut glass but the information that pops up like very luan (messy). Hope some of you can advise. Thanks. :)

erm... the original glass shld be better than those film.....

if u wan extra protection, go for those clear film which will reject heat lor.......

thanks coupe07. :) in tat case will not do la. maybe if want, just do the front windscreen and door part. those are still clear. wonder whether i do half only got half price. hope so. hee.....

Hi! Pls post update if & when u do the front 1/2. Me never got to getting it done, and am curious. FYI front can't be as dark as the rear. Cheers!
