Stormy Blue vs White
Hi all,
facing a dilemma, stormy blue with advanced keyless entry vs premium white colour with normal switchblade key both same price, which one should i go for? wife and i are worried about maintenance of the colour. stormy blue, just like black, seems to be able to show fine lines/scratches more easily. white on the other hand, can disguise small lines but dirty marks show up more easily. any views? from those who own black/stormy blue and whites? thanks! |
white attract gals, black attract guys/gays

White is gd...but stormy blue is the new white...
Therefore...get stormy blue... heehee... :naughty: |
thanks all,
decided on the stormy blue :) |
huh??? get white.. nicer...
|
decided that the advanced card key is very attractive.
it's something that not many has. i was thinking that if i drive the nice nice white, it can look like previous year models. but imagine a stormy blue with the little button on the door handle and so on, at least see liao, those who know, will know its a new model. and hopefully, resale value also higher next time mah. not to mention water repellent glass on the stormy blue one. heee, that's my amateurish take on the decision...hehe and worse come to worse, next time sian of the car and dun wanna sell, then spray whatever colour and drive till the end of the COE lor. my first ride leh...very excited :) |
I would definately have to say white. It has not disappointed me at all.:)
|
Oh, a little update on the keyless card and water repellant glass..
Keycard: very useful, able to open door, boot and start car empty handed. No problems even after repeated drops from hip height. Can't imagine going back to keys.. Water-repellant glass: quite useful at expressway speeds, effect not as dramatic as rainX, but so far no degredation in performance. |
If you misplace your keyless card how much will it cost to order one and how long wait?
|
Dunno... have never lost my keys before. Anyway, there's a spare, and on top of that, you can still use a regular key that comes as part of the card.
Now that you mention it, I better go duplicate it someday soon :) |
Rumboo,
if i remember correctly, it's close to $500. plus have to order from japan. Cannot be done in Singapore. unless MM lah which dun entertain us. Winn |
Yups, I suspected it would cost that much..
I'd never pay that amount, that's why I need to duplicate the key, so that I can go back to old-fashioned keys if I ever lose BOTH cards. |
btw my mm 8 doesn't come with keycard.
