Stock 6MT with NOS (Dyno)
I know this is long overdue but it was just too much hassle to strip down my ride to get this dyno done...till I decided to change the color of my ride and I had to drop the engine anyway to get a proper spray job done.
So without further ado, here is a stock 6MT outfitted only with NOS (55hp shot) and the results. Just for the record I did 5 dyno pulls and the results that we see here shows the worst and the best results respectively. http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/792...age1ms4.th.jpg http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/3...age2yo6.th.jpg Enjoy ;) p.s...will dyno my ride again with all the mods on - stay tuned! |

The interesting thing here is that upon engaging the shot at 4000 rpm, the instant, no lag spike in torque and hp was impressive to say the least. Not quite a violent burst of power with my TC boosting at 1.5bar but it is definately comparable to the stock 0.4bar boost with the standard Greddy kit and is definately noticeble. Also keep in mind that we can only get 98 RON over here which is equivalent to 91 RON in the U.S. |
Yeah its great, I cant wait to be sprayin' again.

It is definately the best bang for the buck.

Coincidentally I am selling my entire nitrous setup. Check the FS forums. :)
I really think this dyno is on the lower end. |

98 RON is about equivalent to US 93/94 by the R+M/2 formula we use.....

s 95 RON x .95 = 90.2 AKI (U.S) 98 RON x 0.95 = 93.1 AKI (U.S) The whole point of this dyno wasnt to show how uber my stock engine was but to show the difference that Nitrous actually makes to my customer base. As such I dont do my dyno's for show on race gas, just to inflate the figures, as that would mean me having some pretty dissatisfied customers and a bad rep. Swerve |
i'll be going on the dyno next week hopefully.

Just for reference sakes, what RON gas will you be using? What other mods do you have on your car? How big a shot will you be running? Good luck dude :D |
The standard high grade gas here in the US is 93. That's what I use.
I am currently using the 65 n2o jet and 55 fuel jet. My other relevant mods are a cat delete and catback exhaust. My PCM has been reflashed via the Cobb Accesport by a custom calibration from MazdaManiac, leaned out my AFR quite a bit for some power gains as well as increased redline and the such. I am aiming for 240hp while spraying. :) |
