Second hand PI-RX8

Hi guys. My first post in this forum. Was thinking of getting a second hand RX8. Went to see one PI version. But now after reading some of the posts about the after sales support for PI version, does it mean that a second hand PI RX8 is even worse because the PI won't give you support anymore for 2nd owner? TIA guys.

bro,

PI Rx8s are normally warrantied for 1 year but there
are a few dealers that warranty for 3 years.

But the warranty is only for 1st owner/non transferable.
Once it is sold...the warranty is void.

Mazda Motors warranty is transferable so the next owner still beneifts from it.

But I tell u this for a fact...majority of the PI workshops know shit about RX8.
Last month when I sent my car to my PI workshop, the CHIEF mechanic wanted to check my engine oil and he took out my Auto trans dipstick instead.

So they won't even know where's the problem when there is a problem and then
if it's a wear and tear part, you are on yr own and if it is a warrantied part, they will tell you oh....they have to bring in the part from Japan because it is not a common car and it takes a while.
(even though there are a list of spare part shops around)

The only workshops that I know of that know about
the 8 are Monster Garage and Garage R.

So you will save a great deal on the car price but
the maintainence u are on yr own.

ultimately its your call. if you would like to put special things in your car to make zoom zoom, you'll void your mazda warranty right away if they find out.

and my PI workshop is Monster Garage so...... :Peace:
