Yup heeded Morgan's advice and went to get a translucent purple on for my TGrey.
Looks quite good after I put it actualy, thanks. But this strip is more for being a responsible driver, when open door, wont dent the other car. |

-Ringer- If yes how does it looks like? I'm interested |
yah boy, can post pics?
Me interested in defending my sides.... |
It's the same strip stuff morganoh posted except it is original Mazda part in matching body colour. I think there is a website somewhere with all the Mazda accessories with pictures. Sorry I do not have photo to post.
Frankly as someone mentioned it does not stop dinks and dents on your car but just a courtesy to the car next to you. And it does detract from the smooth lines of the RX8. When it gets old and dirty in another year's time I may take it off. You have been warned... -Ringer- |

Yes, vertical just like your picture. Much more discreet when in body colour.
Never ever spoil the smooth sides of the 8 with those beng horizontal side moldings. You see, no matter how much or where you put the molding, a door can and will always hit it at an unprotected spot. Murphy's Law. Good luck. -Ringer- |
