RX-8 Reviews
I just can't explain why that despite the fact that I have a wonderful car to drive to work everyday, I end up home late at night reading up about how wonderful the car is to drive. :D:
Anyway, here's a review I just chanced upon (or rather, I must have missed when I was deciding to buy.) Maybe it's because like in the review, I was recently on a trip to Cornwall in England (in an M3 no less!) so it brought back memories and a strong urge to imagine taking the 8 through those curvy roads with their breathtaking view to Land's End. But I digress... http://www.carpages.co.uk/mazda/mazd...1-14-02-05.asp My favourite parts: "As motoring journalists we drive a large number of cars every year and sadly you do become immune to the novelty of a new car - but this was not the case with the RX-8 we couldn't wait to drive it." "The engine and exhaust note is raucous and truly addictive - Mazda have clearly designed the RX-8 with the enthusiast in mind." "We drive over 100 cars a year, and the RX-8 left a lasting impression, it is often too easy to forget which vehicle we drove the week before but the Mazda RX-8 will go down in our hall of fame. Mazda deserve recognition for creating a new class of four-seater in the sports car market." And finally, Cornwall being famous for fish & chips... "It is a car that that begs to be driven so much so that we drove over 200 miles in one evening just to go for fish chips!" :beerchug: Actually, why don't be post a whole bunch of links here on web reviews of the RX8 so that potential buyers can have an easy place to find them all (yesss.... even easier than Googling it) - KKML |
I quite picky when it comes to buying things. I am never so satisfied buying something before. The most satisfied i ever felt buying something in my life is maybe 60-70% but the 8 ranks a highest 80% satisfaction on my purchase-satifaction scale.
Anyway i thought for quite a while and read quite a bit before buying the 8. Just as i do for all my purchases. |
You know what? I'm glad the RX8 worked out well for you, but hey, don't you think that most purchases only hitting 60-70% satisfaction is rather.... urm..... low? Gosh, I think I'm like a machine (i.e. binary) or something coz typically, I don't think that hard. It's either HAPPY or NOT HAPPY
No idea how to % my satisfaction. Just know that I lurrrve my 8! Just like I'm sure many of our fellow owners feel. Right guys? ... Guys??? ... Hello.... hey? HELLO??! :boring: (silence) Must be late at night or the weekend lah. The RX8Clubers usually gear up :ylsuper: for Friday nights  then chill out for weekend :mdrmed: |

At my age it is great to have the excuse that for a sports car it is practical, it has 4 seats and doors. Then I promptly forget it has 4 seats and doors. Ya, I did the same thing yesterday. Took a 4 hour round trip just for fish and chips just so I could drive the RX8. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_201.gif So can I put a % on my satisfaction with the car. Nooooooo http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_218.gif |
