Road Trip To Malaysia On This Sunday 16th
 

date : 16th apr sunday
venue : second link petronas
time : 0900, gas up and ready to move off
route : first leg up n/s highway, yong peng, paloh, kluang,
jemaluang, mawai, kg sungai rengit, jb by 1830

brunch at yong peng, seafood high tea at sungai rengit and optional dinner in jb.
ops can be maintained by our walkies within an estimated 8km radius and the entire route is covered by our hp network should there be a break in convoy.

once u have cleared the malaysian customs followed by a toll both,keep left
look out for a big signage with diagrams of prayer/dining/rest/petrol stops along the left road shoulder.

take the second left turn, drive thr' the parking area of the prayer/dining/reststop and you will be able to see petronas station at the other end.
should u be in doubt pls call me at 9871 3626

however, should you missed the turn all is not lost yet.
keep going and stick to left lane when you see petronas, pull over on the road shoulder and back the car into the station....
word of caution, do not not take e first turn! it will lead u to neverland!!!

estimate to reach the singapore customs no later than 0815 in order to arrive at petronas with enough time to gas up and get acquainted before we hit the road......

late comers after 0900 will buy lunch in yong peng
dun forget to bring your pair of walkies n ringgit

Hi guys...can confirm I'm in for Sunday :yesnod: I'm trying to free up Sat, will revert soon.

For those of you who are new and haven't done this trek yet....believe me, it's the best ride you'll get with your 8. Jetblast takes all precautions and ensures that we top up gas frequently, make stops to resassemble everyone (everyone has a walkie to keep in touch), plenty of time to take pictures, makan in interesting places, meet new people....it's a definite great time all around :ylsuper:

I wish I can go but exams coming up. :(

bo pian leh... go for the mazda defensive driving course. somehow all squeeze into this month. any way the rubber already used for 2 yrs, earn liao !!!!

c'mon.. a day's trip niah... u go this one.. maybe sepang not so fun anymore......

It's a bunch of clips that me and Jo filmed during the ride. Nothing special. This gives an idea of the road conditions... But of course... you just have to be there...

Don't forget to fill up..... The last clip is of me running of petrol.... and I was running on fumes...

That's because you were so fast....

I didn't film the part where we did the run just before we reach the lake... I think that is just about the best driving the RX8 could do... so many twist and turns.

Anybody with the Autoexe under carriage brace... you will want to try this run because you will feel the difference... frankly we were too busy driving to bother with filming.

If you want your car to be filmed then slow down lah... you know I got tons of crap in my boot how to catch up...??

i direct this question to u becos almost every single one of ur video clips, i'm always directly in front of u...... but this time round no have..

To all the guys in Singapore, if you haven't been on our road trips, I would recommend going with our top guns. These guys are experienced and will show you roads that your 8 will love to run on. Twist and turns till your hearts content....

Younger drivers, if this is your first outing on to malaysian roads then this would be the best time to do so because you have a guide.

Just remember to do your pre flight check ups... Tires, engine oil, malaysian money, battries, walkies, toilet paper... oh yes... digital cam (Still or video).

I am still thinking whether to go or not.
