Reducing Heat
 

Hi Bros, I'm from KL, i am searching for a way to effectively reducing the heat of my Gear Box and Navigation Console due to high power generated through the rotary engine that goes through the exhaust system, but confusing on what to change, hope anyone here can provide me the exact way on doing so.:banghead:

First thing you may consider is to heat wrap your manifolds and exhaust system. These will reduce a lot of the heat. Also, you can place insulation to the body of the car that get close to the gearbox.

someone has tried installing an atf-cooler which works brilliantly....

It's an extra feature for winter..... But here we can keep tapau chicken rice or milo warm..... hahhah

Put a big piece of heat shield above the gearbox will do....

Hey thanks for those tips, will explore one by one and decide which is the best practice towards this issue

I'm also thinking of installer a second atf cooler (is this the one right behind the right fog lamp position), noticed that my cup holder gets real hot after a slightly longer drive.

take the cat out replace it with a race or test pipe

The heat comes from the cat.
