Reading owner's manual

Anybody had done that? Anything interesting we need to know?

So far my manual's still in my glove...haven't flip a page....wondering if i should bring it along so as to read during my breaks....

daddyg 11-04-2004 10:52 AM

i did read most of mine - there is some useful info on the car and how to use the tire inflater, or the DSC/TSC. Better to read up on it now when you have time, then have to try to skim through it on the side of a highway at night if you get stuck.

yeah i've done a read up on the owner's mannual... actually gone through all the pages...

there r information that we need to know... regarding the remote control, the DSC/TSC as daddyg mention... types of oils wat kind of oils to use for rx-8 7 stuffs... teach u how to change your own lightblubs

Manwe 11-05-2004 12:53 AM

The problem is...I already know how to change the light bulbs etc etc...hahhaa...I am a electrical engineer by training.

Moreover, I spend months studying about engines and systems full time... luckily ABBA exist...right jetblast and sqflyer?

I've got the PDF version of the manual (well, US version anyway) and have referred to it (so easy to do searches), but like Manwe, haven't opened the book manual yet.

sqflyer 11-05-2004 10:28 AM

Manwe bro... where would we be without the "Dancing Queen" I wonder...

Manwe 11-05-2004 07:27 PM

No dancing queen then sure fail...the instructors cmi.

Manwe 11-05-2004 07:29 PM

But honestly...do we need to know anything in the owner's manual? I can figure out all the stuff in the engine... wiring wise i dun think the manual do give details but i already know...so what is the important thingey? If there is, then i'll go and read those sections... i'll be away for couple of days...not bringing laptop so no log in...

well Manwe i'm sure you had the pleasure of reading volumes of manuals by now.
there's the need to know and good to know
