Lower Spring Recommendations?

The last meetup was superb!!!! Gosh, all the guys were really friendly and super informative too!!! Glad to meet you guys!!!! But also kena poison too.....:lol:

Oh ya, got one question to seek advice from you guys, any recommendation for lower spring, in terms of handling and ride height.

Coz i'll be getting a vertex kit in the future, so any good advice on the suitable ride height. Should i lower by 20 or 30 mm?

forget about lowering springs,
go get coilovers.

save money this way, instead of lower springs....in no time u will be tempted to change to coilovers....which can adjust your ride height as well.

rather than stock --->lower springs----> coilovers...
go from stock ---> coilovers best...

if $ damage too high from coilovers, then stay stock.....
till can whack coilovers....

haha.. sports cars should come with coilovers as stock.. no matter how good they claim to tune the stock absorbers... its still going straight to the junk pile as soon as we get it.

e.g. i dont care how heavily tweeked the civic type r's suspension is claimed to be.. to me if it aint coilovers its going to the bin

Get a good set of coilovers. You will definitely feel the difference and enjoy the car over the next few years. It's one of my fav mods so far. :)

it seriously depending on urself.

If due to budget constrain n do die still want ur 8 to look good:

a - go for a set of lowering spring which is available in quite a few workshops
b - look out in lelong lelong sect for used sets

If u are able to wait or have e budget, then go for a set of coil overs.

Any coil overs will definitely be much better than a set of lowering spring. This is speaking from "Experience" as I personally been there and done it!

If u r a person whom like to take ur ride to a little further when negotiating bends, Dont Take Chance! Safety first! Otherwise, stay stock and take it easy for awhile.............

if got $ go for coilover for looks n performance. no $ like me just changed springs so tat car looks lower n nicer lor.

yea coilover is dammmme gd when u corner. u can feel the great difference. no bodyroll, turn swee swee where u wan ur car to turn to.

dont bother to lower srpings man~ unless u just wan the car to look good. kaka can tell u why. he's been wanting to change to coilover now.

Anyone can recommendate any coil over brand and the damage?

Is TEIN superstreet the only coilover for our RX8?? I on TEIN set up but don't know which type is it as it came along when I bought my car
