Hey,

I'm very much interested in the 18", but understand that it will not fit rite? Not too sure abt this but was advised by EASTMOON that I'll have to source for 18"*7.5JJ instead of the 250's 18"*8. It'll be gd if anyone can confirm on this.

Eniwae, mine will only be in 1st 2 wks of Nov. Pearl white with side strakes, front, side and rear kit, 3rd brake lite and a few items more.....

Do keep in contact!

I thought you should be able to take the 18" rims as long as the PCD is the same. The overall wheel diameter of both 16" and 18" rims are about the same - 653.9 mm and 659.7 mm respectively so shouldn't have any obvious speedometer errors to worry about. Anyway, I believe the Aust and UK normal power version (ie their 189bhp or thereabouts version) comes with 18" rims as standard.

FYI, heard from Garage R that there is a pearl white Type S coming in soon (within the next couple of weeks) - cloth seats but with 9 speakers and side airbags. This car has not been booked yet, so if you want the car in a hurry, maybe go check them out.

:D

You had a VR4? Cool car - pretty powerful. So what made you decide to go for an RX-8?

I'm sure the 18" rims will fit, but maybe our Japanese friends can confirm. Otherwise, there's plenty of aftermarket rims available.

VR4 indeed is a rather cool car, all the more when u leave jaws dropping each time u take off. Tweaked it to slightly more than 300bhp. Sold my car after the gearbox blew on me, and thru' my mechanic, there'r more to come. Thot I beta sell it b4 it burn more holes in my oredi 'burnt' pocket! HA!

As for the RX8, man, it was LOVE at 1st slight! HAhahaha...juz like the 1st time I saw my wife. Had to make it mine. Eversince I laid my hands on the 8 at EZ, hmmmmm...it never quite left my mind.

Hi SingRX8,

Seriously, i do not it affect. I've check with the Rim & tire pro....after the measurement....it fit well. Just like the 250HP body & morever the rim is only 9KG or 9+

cheers

Hi UG 8,

I'm getting the the same rim as most of the guys...Spyder knows...hee..hee.

VR GT7 Gun Metalic....Try not to be the same...but love at first sight. 1st I thought of getting the SSR...but the Gun Metalic match my Silver RX better....good thing that our RXs are diiff colour.

When the 1st RX8 meeting shall very much depend on the outcome of this week....hope to get mine by this Sat....

Cheers

2F2F - bro, same rim ok, luckily car not same colour - heheehe

anyway, i had check with other RX8 owners and found out that type S caould not fit 16 inch rims due to size of rotors (there goes my idea of 16 for the track - save tyre costs)

according to my idea, my car should be out Friday afternoon, keeping finger cross

i think most probably we can have our first RX8 meet next week, should be interesting to have a group of RX8 out, can imagine that people would just jaw drop looking at the cars!!!

so, any ideas where can we meet!!!

Bro (Spyder),

Yeah man!!...somewhere that we can park close to our view while having coffee will be good. What about Friday night at the Selegie Kopitiam...but must be there about 8ish or else cannot park next to the sitting area. Or...Kallang McDonalds...or Sat early evening at Fast East Shopping Center....any suggestions?

I'm going down to submit my I/C now....hee hee

Cheers
