I can't stand this anymore...whiteX, good try, but never undersell yourself bro...you don't want to ask for a 'nice job'....that's for wimps, you want to ask for a freakin' challenging job that will max your potential and value added to your employer, so tell (and ask) for that!....you want the employer to feel like they should be lucky to hire you. Express your needs from a positive position and you'll get a positive result.

:) Ok, I was over zealous with my previous comment, but even a short term job can provide great contacts and recommendations for future jobs. My point being that with some effort and expressed enthusiasm, other opportunities usually surface and can lead in a new and exciting direction. It's about making those opportunities happen!

Lohsk...agree with you bro, but I always feel it's better to look for a position where we are over challenged rather than under challenged. Most decent employers see the extra effort being put in and even if we're not totally successful in the role, they will usually reward the effort which can create new opportunities.

be a banquet waiter..... around $1200 per mth, u can not afriad of hardship.

I did that for 4 years on every school holidays.

Hotel always need banquet waiter. cos most of them quit after a few weeks and some even a few days

You can say that again..... setting tables getting the right glasses like goblet, etc.... serving food and getting screwed for other people's mistakes.... hai.....those were the days.
