Export or scrap
 

How much can I get for my body, if I scrap my car or sell off for export. ( June 2004 ) any good dealer to recommend, I'm upgrading.....

scrap is only when the body is worthless. i guess maybe you mean sell locally or export? some dealers quoted me 18k for the body(6MT). but i guess you can get better rates if you source around and if you are willing to give up the car immediately, sometimes you get a better rate as the export dealer might have a waiting buyer and his shipment is going out soon. else usually they pay lower and let it sit for a while the the export zone till they find a buyer. so it very much depends on luck if you land a good deal.

But a RX8 is a less desired car in the 3rd world countries. usually toyotas are easiest to move quickly and for a decent price. good luck hunting.

try stanley at eurospeed marina south... i don't know his reputation or his company that well but when i considered changing my ride, he offered a higher price than most, and he was rather friendly -but then again who wouldn't when there's business to be done.
