speaking of rotaray engines, I recently wrote to Super Workshop in Ubi to have a sense if they can handle the Rx-8. They came back with the answer of using Helix super for the engine oil... is this suitable if I may ask the fellow Rx-8 experts?=)

any kind of low-ash mineral is suitable, but 'handling' an rx-8 is much more than using generic oil. Ask them 'eh, next time got steering rack prob how do you fix ah'? see how they answer.

Now that is a good test if they understand how to handle an 8

Yes, Shell Helix is mineral, Shell Ultra is Synthetic. Workshops who don't know much about RX-8s won't know nuts about our steering rack, much less about it's issues.
