Emergency Contacts For Workshop In Malaysia

Bros,

I'm planning a drive up with my family. Am prob heading up stopping at Melaka first and then on to KL and was wondering if you guys have any emergency contacts should I run into any problems with my car as I'm not familiar with workshops that can handle the rotary engine.

Hope this does not sound like a silly request, but with my other cars, I've always had a list of emergency contacts in Malaysia, but got this car from PI and they have no contacts in Malaysia to provide.

Much appreciated. Thanx.

Should your engine had problm on your way up to KL,
I guess no one will be able to help .

The only thing that u can do is to Join AAS member or any other company which provide 1st free towing service from Malaysia back to Singapore

Bro, you worried too much..... Don't your insurance company got tow service in Malaysia???..... Becos many people had driven to KL and yet to found any problem..... If it's engine problem, your car might spend weeks here.....

The only thing u need to worry is getting a Bust Tyre.

U will have a higher chance of a Flat tyre than an Engine failure.

Therefore I always carry a spare in the boot.

Anyone know where to get a 'thin' spare tyre. Much smaller than a regular tyre and use just for a flat. Enuf to get you to a tyre repair shop and yet takes up little room in your boot.

Saw this on 5th gear sometime back.

That's the original spare tyre kit from Mazda.....

Dont the RX8 come with an electronic bump? use it and get to the nearest tyre shop.

Else just call the expressway, they will tow your car to the nearest.

Actually how easy and effective is it to use the pump and tyre repair kit? Never (touch wood) had chance to use it yet....
