Drats!

I think I hit my undercarriage while exiting compasspoint carpark last night. Those idiots who design carparks got to stop putting humps at the apex of the slope. Grrr....it serves no purpose. I went dead slow and still I kena. Think maybe my suspension too soft also ba cause it bounce and hit.

I just felt like complaining. hehehehe :bootyshak

sometimes u juz got to go slow.... stock suspension is comfort biased, so u cun complain.

U r on stock body somemore... imagine those on bodykits... FLYER, u ever kena on the same carpark????

coupe07 02-16-2006 03:46 AM

One more thing to note, u juz got to get use to the scrapping of ur undercarriage.... with or without lowering.....juz go slower or be a snake when u navigate thru these humps.....

mr cuscorex is the best person to tell u his experience. Sgrenesis got to get down from his car to help him check whether he can clear one of the humps or not...... well.... memories.. those were the days........

The hump at the top of the slope out of the Compass Pt carpark seems pretty big, at least that's what it looks like while approaching it. But I usually go very slow and was never a problem, never scrape undercarriage or bodykit. I'm running on stock type-S suspension. I hate humps at the top or bottom of any slope, but in the case of Compass Pt, it's because there is a pedestrian crossing there so they wanna force the cars to slow down.

I had that experience even more with the undercarriage brace.

Thats why I remove my Mazda Speed Undercarriage brace. (do not want to heard the scratch sound anymore)

Maybe I was not slow enuff in crossing the hump although I felt like I was dead slow. But with the constant scrapping will it cause rust to set in?
They could have put the hump just before the end of the slope.

Moral of the story: Car park designers/architects don't drive low cars.

Alvin, you stole that saying from me :yesnod: I have been saying that for along time and to everyone.

Add to the list, a hump at the end of a slope in a carpark.

And not forgeting stupid useless small humps in carparks.

Understood Morgan, but I won't remove my undercarriage brace under any conditions, I like it too much :) I've raised my coilovers a bit to compensate for these fucking humps, and changed my tyres, so now I can clear most ramps in Sing with ease....

Its good for not removing the undercarriage brace. U rather hit yr under brace than yr chasis right? Right choice, like i m doing now.

My suspension is stock , so thats the highest I can go. If I change a suspension and go higher, my car will be a SUV. :)

Maybe u are right cos I'm still thinking of if I should sell it or install it back on the car.

Haven't tried lucky plaza yet. But think i wouldn't after Neon's advice
