Hi

All u need is to customize those 'carbon lookalike plastic' to fill up the space between the stock meters and the Defi.

This is suppose to be available for Japan only (it was shown in the Jan Tokyo motor show). Currently I know of 1 set in Spore (owner had to pull a lot of string to get it). Whether nice or not its individual. Some find gauges ugly no matter where they are mounted or what type of hood they use.

Not cheap though.... over $3k SGD. Strictly for hardcore.

Bro u sure if u hav all this gadgets in your car it won't cause any problem !!!!!

I m worried for u coz u very likely to take your eyes off the road misap will happen.

Then, by changing color or havin new number also won't solve ur problem !!!!!!!!

Mayb u should chng ur career to flying, there is alot of gauges for you to toy around wif

Here is the e-mail from them on the guages :P in march ..haha..

Hi, Ian.

Thank you for inquiry.

At this moment, we need new Defi-Link Control Unit ( that is based on DSSC's control unit ). But this model is completely new and it is still study model. So no exact specification is not fixed yet.

So, we are now going to think about the specification of new generation Control Unit and Defi-Link Display.

The DSSC cluster is small enough to set in front of existing stock meter cluster. Of course the DSSC has odometer and fuel level gauge.

But we have to fix bugs on this product and we also have to localize all operation menu and documents. so I assume it will take a few more years to release this product for international market.

Thank you and best regards.

To Defi,

Saw pictures of your products still under development. I believe you have hit the nail with your new line ups. I particularly loved the Defi-Link Display PROTO(White OLED). Will i have to get the new control unit to have it work or can i still use my Control Unit 2 ? Would i able to upgrade my Control Unit 2 to the newer model ? Also that Super Sports cluster is just sexy. What would the dimensions be like ? I would love to be able to place it over my existing cluster than removing the whole thing. Would the Super Sports Cluster have a odometer read out ? It would good to have it if you are replacing the whole cluster. And again , great stuff :)

Thanks for your time
Ian

Gav, seems like u got a backside that is too itchy for your hands to scratch. Either that or you got too much money dunno where to spend. If it's the latter, pls remember you have many friends in the club to help you with that problem. :mdrmed:

gfoo 09-12-2006 02:14 PM

ok ok, tying up my hands... no more mods for me....i swear!

INXS 09-12-2006 03:12 PM

NONO... buy buy buy.. then sell 1/2 price to me..

KJ238 09-12-2006 10:06 PM

I love it.... But costs too much

Emperor 09-13-2006 12:09 AM

KJ238: Seems small change to the mods you done to your car according to your signature.

Basic 3 gauges alreay costs 1k plus. This replacement at $3k plus seems ok. Compare that to the price of other "hardcore" mods.
