Cupholders still warm for MM cars ?
 

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to check with the latest batch of MM owners whether they still had the problem with the center cup holders being warm. There was some talk about it in the earlier threads and was wondering whether they had fixed it with the later models.

Has Mazda found a solution to their drink warmers? Maybe they intended it during development of the car! It still amazes me!

Fix it? You got to be kidding. I put my house key inside.... after a couple hours of driving. When I pick up the key....I drop it real fast....ouch...lucky no blisters(ok ok...exaggerating but you get what I mean).

I don't think they fix it yet.

this car generates so much heat that I doubt you're going to see warm cup holders going away. The people who go in for the "Fix" come out with warm cupholders, but their center console had to be ripped apart. It's really not worth worrying about unless the heat can be described as more than just "warm"

It's better without the stock cat. Since I went to the high flow cat this problem has gotten better. The airflow around the Random cat is much better....even with the hotter exaust gas temps from the tuning
