Best tires for wet conditions?

I'm just wondering what are the best tires for the wet conditions we experience over here? My tires are not faring too well more and more in the recently frequent downpour. Appreciate all input.. thanks.

I'm using the Toyo T1R's and they are not too bad. Heard good things about the Eagle F1's as well bud. Good luck!

Fab 8 03-19-2007 01:07 AM

Eagle F1 GSD3 - fantastic in the wet.

DarkLord 03-19-2007 01:17 AM

Eagle F1s better in the white than dry sia.

mkl22 03-19-2007 01:37 AM

INXS 03-19-2007 01:49 AM

Yeah.. Michelin Ps1 and Ps2.. superb.

in ur opinion, which is better?

INXS 03-19-2007 07:00 AM

Ps2, seems to be quieter, grip is slightly better than its predecessor.

SushiFan 03-19-2007 08:03 AM

I'm a ferarri supportor hence I support bridgestone :D! ha ha ha ha ha....

IMHO

from a TURANZA GR 80 - you offend my status... cheapo rubbers..
a ferrari supporter, wat are you trying to prove? go buy a ferrari then...
and stop making unnecessary remarks. i dun find it cool... in one way or another
i oso dun need a sarcastic member-to-be here.

SushiFan 03-19-2007 10:01 AM

actually i dont know why you bother to read so much into what I write. GR 80 happen to be the only Bridgestone tyre I know so I'm stupid. So its cheapo and that means I'm poor. All I said was that I support bridgestone because I'm a fan of Ferarri not that I strongly recommended anyone to fit their 8 with it. I am sorry if that offends anyone. I give it to you and the rest who probably knows more about cars and tires than I do. Don't see why you have to be so offensive about it.

hellangel 03-19-2007 10:09 AM

stephy relac la... i think he drive ferrari de la... 8 too slow for him le.. muahahah.... dun worry we small 8 all go kopi now? lolz...

Rumboo 03-19-2007 07:36 PM

Don't worry, Sushi.. when you get your 8, you will know one more type of Bridgestone tyre. ;)

jaii13 03-19-2007 09:03 PM

Thanks for the input guys. I also used to have Falken GRBs on my previous car which performed pretty well in the wet. Too bad they don't produce that model anymore. Anyone has Falkens?

Potenza S-02s was excellent also.

Genesis 03-20-2007 01:01 PM

Listen to Fab 8, he knows, and yes, I bot them wet F1 "suction cups" too and wouldn't have it any other way....fantastic tyres. Yu can almost climb vertically Republic Plaza to pick up the investment chicks :)

I was on both.. now on Ps2. Ps2 noise reduction is significant. Grip wise, both are remarkable, be it wet or dry

Fab 8 03-21-2007 10:33 AM

PS2 are great tyres too but damn expensive.

INXS 03-21-2007 01:08 PM

yeah. i got them all for 500 only. 245/18

RX8ster 03-23-2007 03:22 AM

My vote goes to Eagle F1 GS-D3. Excellent in the wet and I have no complains about its performance in the dry. Just don't expect slick or semi-slick track like performance in the dry.
