2nd Meetup for rx8 bros!
 

Hi buddies,

The first mini meetup at kallang mac was pretty good. Now, after some discussion from other fellow bros, we are going to have another meetup! This time hoping to see some fellow rx8 old birds! haha.

Lets make it short and sweet:

Venue: Kallang Mac (meeting point)
Date: 22nd Dec07 Sat
Time: 2000hrs / 8.00pm (pls do not be late this time)
Programme: meetup for tkss. --> makan (tbc of location) --> drinks!!:spank:

The next meetup will be 29th Dec. Sat.... jchong suggested a makan sessions cum a 'little' drinking session to help everyone relax abit. Pls put your hands together for another round newly found brothers get-together. Gfs /Bfs/ wives/ husbands/mistress/watever are invited. :lol:

The one and only time I made it down for meetup was when I was still driving a 323..

But my ride still bone stock, so not very interesting.. unless you interested in baby seat..

it was really great to see all of you on the 22nd Dec meetup.
Many thanks to jchong for the ride up and down. Sorry for the trouble!!!.

Everyone is so friendly and approachable on any kind of topics, whether if it is about the 8 or other stuffs. I learnt a lot more stuffs on that night itself than spending hours searching and reading the threads in this forum.

And of course, the rides were eventually lined up and we go through everyone's ride in details. And what a sight it is, as well as "inspriational" to a newbie like me (who will be getting my ride in a couple of day's time). Now my head is swimming with all the ideas of what I should do with my 8 when it arrives.

Really cannot wait for the next meetup and makan/drinking session on the 29th.
But alas, my wife just reminded me that about our KL shopping trip on the 29th till 1st Jan. Guess I will not be able to make it for the meetup on the 29th Dec liao.
You guys enjoy yourselves.

Looks like before I splurge on my new ride, I have to splurge on my wife in KL 1st. Let's hope she will leave something for my 8....haha

Geez.. serves me right for confusing everyone.. jchong = fugu (same person.. until my scizophrenia kicks in from 12am). Anytime rhudayar, no trouble at all!! It was really fun meetin up with everyone..

FYI for the rest - we had 6 cars that showed up altogether (more people with the gfs & wives in tow), so it was really lively! :) Bro Lonewolf's ICE & customized in-boot RX8 plate (you got to see it to understand what this is) was inspiring. Everyone else was very friendly and we talked about lotsa stuff on customization of our rides and just had a good time in general (I know I did!).

Rest of the bros should come join us if you can on the 29th.. heads up that I will reach out to the group in facebook too!
