245/40R18 tyres on original 18" rims
The original size is 225/45R18 but not all brands have this size so i'm thinking of changing to 245/40R18. Is this ok? any problems?

Having it now and yes, confirm no problem and it looks very nice.
If you lower your ride about 2 fingers space 245 will fill all the gap space. |

opsss ...
you are right ! 245 = width and 40/45 = thickness of the sidewall ... but i always think i have a bigger tire ... probably the gap space in my car create an illusion of me ... and I did lower my ride for couple fingers space ... but left with 1.5 finger space in between ... cross my finger so far my bottom does scream at the moment |
