RX's second-hand parts is anywhere in Europe?

Colleagues, if some of you knows, any web & email addresses of companies dealing with second-hand parts for RXs in Europe? There are lot of them in US, but its far and no one knows for sure is that part is same spec as Europeans machines.

Thank you in advance and
Good luck

What do you mean second hand parts?

Yusik 12-18-2006 10:12 AM

I mean companies reassembliing/taking to pieces cars after crashes. USA analog: http://www.crashescars.com/de/spareparts. I looking for example radio head unit. It costs here 650$, why do I need it new?

Jedi54 12-18-2006 01:20 PM

I don't know about any Europoean companies (Since I live in the US) BUT if you don't find what you are looking for, maybe look into a US company such as mazmart. He is a forum vendor who sells parts off of wrecked mazda's.

Good luck with your search.

Yusik 12-18-2006 02:19 PM

Thanks Jedi54, I know them, but what I need now is head unit - radio tuner, I have an US-spec. car with only odd-ended frequencies, so Mazmart has same.

StuttgartRX8 12-20-2006 08:35 AM

I would check ebay.com, I saw a factory head unit on there for $150. If you need help with other US parts let me know. I can probably track down anything you need thru my friends that still live in the US.

Yusik 12-20-2006 02:20 PM

Thank you, but the thing is, that now I need exactly european specification head unit, yes, there a some on ebay.com, I bought 6CD changer thru it for example, but nothing on ebay.eu! Its not surprise, as anybody can see Europe forum is not so active to compare to US one! So if you see some kind of Germany companies or www addresses of them dealing with crashed Mazdas, please let me know!

Thank you in advance
Yuri

Hi Yusik,

Have you ever tried this address?

http://www.astrashop.it/rx8.htm

They are emptying 8's to convert them into race cars, so plenty of brand new spare parts!

Bye,
Luc

Yusik 01-17-2007 02:16 PM

Hi Luc,

Oh, thank you, I just've been looking thru that site, seems they have a lot of parts!
Tomorrow morning I ask them for the parts I need!

Thanks again and
Good Luck!

Yuri

personaly, i have compared mazda's 3 and 6 headunit and they look the same. i ve bought a mazda 6 radio+cd player set and i am expecting to receive it these days, i believe that if i just swap radios it will all work great.

titaniumgr3y 06-18-2007 06:01 AM

mazda 6 has a small difference from rx8 and it doesnt fit.

titaniumgr3y 06-18-2007 06:02 AM

you can connect it with wires but in the front were it connects with fascia, it has 0.5cm difference and the 2 connectors cannot be connected.
