RX-8 Mazda SPAM!!

Just received this on my email, as I have already pre-ordered my vehicle looks like mazda marketing and/or the ameythst group are really on the ball

From: Mazda Marketing [mazdamktg@amethystgroup-uk.com]

“A coupe that looks
great, drives
brilliantly and has
practicality to boot.
And all at a very
affordable price.”

WhatCar? Road Test
Stay ahead of the pack with the Mazda RX-8

The revolution that is the Mazda RX-8 is coming to the UK. What's more, there's still time for you to be among the first to be part of it.

In case you need further convincing, we'd like to tell you the latest news from the exclusive world of the Mazda RX-8.

First, you'll be pleased to know that the Mazda RX-8's RENESIS rotary engine has just earned the coveted accolade of International Engine of the Year 2003.

We're also really excited about the
Mazda RX-8's insurance grouping. The 192ps model has been placed in group 15E and the 231ps in group 16E, confirming the
Mazda RX-8 as a class leader for insurance as well as design and technology. For full details, including newly published performance figures, check out the Mazda RX-8 website.

Also, included in the price of every
Mazda RX-8 is a free ProdriveLive performance driving course, worth £500.

Pre-Order your very own
Mazda RX-8

I particularly like the line

"What's more, there's still time for you to be among the first to be part of it. "

That will really impress those of you who parted with a grand in February. Is the first October batch not all sold out?

And me... Even more curious as their marketing director told me that I hadn't received update information because I'd not chosen to receive marketing emails from Mazda. I've not changed my settings yet curiously this one slid straight on through... odd that.

Neither have I yet thank God;

Rich Arab had boys, each having their 10th birthday today. 1st boy wanted a trainset so he purchased Virgintrains, 2nd boy wanted a plane so he purchased British Airways; 3rd boy wanted a cowboy outfit so he purchased Mazda UK.

Old but apt.

Angry

I just had to laugh when this one came slam-dunking into my inbox. I never even got the letter from Mazda announcing that the July / Aug delvery date had been put back to Oct / Nov. It took repeated phone calls, each one with new and contradicting information, to get any sort of update at all. Now they are taking the trouble to write to me inviting me to purchase one!
Still, I had an apology from the lovely Deby Gutteridge which made me feel better.
Does anyone know what the service interval is, I have searched Hi and Lo but havent seen anything written on that topic before.

Happy waiting all (look on the bright side, you can save up more money to pay for it)

Thumbs up

Hi JH
The service intervals for the RX8 are 12500 miles, but don't forget to check your oil every second tank of fule,i was lucky enough to go to Silverstone to have a go in the RX8 on the 30th October when i was working for a Mazda dealer, all i'm going to say is that having driven the car i want one.
You should all have been in to your local dealers by now and had a drive so you know what i'm talking about.
If Mazda UK are looking at this i would like to thank them for a fab day out, sorry i will not be there to deliver the 20 pre sold car orders i took, thankyou for the RX8 AR
