Moving to Germany, bring the car?

Well I just found out that I'm PCS'ing to Germany to the Ktown area. I want to bring my car (88 RX7 T2) over, but I'm not sure if it will pass the inspection. The couple of things I'm worried about is my exhaust, the very slight oil leak that I have. I don't know where its coming from and there is some slight rust under the car but its nothing to bad really. I also read something about cars older than 1993 won't get a emissions sticker so I won't be able to drive in certain city's?

I've read around on some forums and some have said that inspection isn't a big deal and have passed without cats and loud exhaust without any problems?

My car currently doesn't have a cat, but I don't think its to loud. I will find a DB meter just to test it just in case though. If I have to I'll also get a removable cat.

I won't be there until the end of the year so I have some time to decide. I hope to see some Rotary people over there.

Since your going for the US inspection process you won't really have a problem unless the guy is being a dick. My friends 600 hp skyline with no cats passed down here at the Stuttgart inspection station. For the sticker yes that law just came in affect on March 1st and it just means you can't drive down town of bigger cities but you should be fine around k-town.
