Clifford Blackjax anyone?

I'm thinking of getting one fitted, seeming as tho lots of new cars are stolen with the keys.

looks realy quite good, and its safe for you to just 'walk away' in case of a hijaking.

May even go for a cat 1 with it included, £500ish is a decent investment, prefer that over a tracker I think.

This site has lots of car security links (the Blackjax link doesn't work though :-( )

Rob,

I believe the 8 has a cat 1 alarm as standard.

It does come with CAT 1 Alarm and Immobiliser as the E Insurance rating indicates.

no hesitation go for the Tracker. Preferably the Monitor version
http://www.thankstotracker.co.uk/

Have it, always have it, seen it work, had it work on my car.
Believe me there can be no alternative.
Someone hijacks your car. so what just place the two calls.
One to the police, record the incident number they give, tell them it has tracker and then ring tracker and give them the incident number.

Job done.

Noone listens to alarms. Do you bother to ring the Police if you hear an alarm going off? Not likely with all the false alarms.

Just pennys worth

Totally agree, this clifford thing is not much use if a)someone steals the keys from your house (rapidly on the increase in the uk) b) No one listens to sirens, or does anything if one goes off.

Just think of your shiny RX8 on the back of a low loader and disappearing???:(
