Saw a Crossfire 2 days ago. It looks a lot nicer than pic. The driver gave me a thumb up and I gave him back one. :D

Seen a few 350Z's and a Crossfire. Not saying this just because i've got the 8 but I really do not like the styling of either of them. The 350 is dull and the Crossfire is offal.

All my opinion by the way.

I like the styling of both Crossfire and 350 although bordering on the brute look and not so keen on the interior.

If all you need is 2 seats and straight line speed the go for the heavy V6 tt and 350.

But if you need 4 adult seats, looks, fun drive and great pricing nothing can compete with the 8.

I've also heard the Crossfire wasn't very exciting to drive (from someone who's driven one in the States). He said it handled pretty well, but power was uninspiring (although he does own a tweaked WRX, so many cars will feel weak in comparison).

I think I will get an RX8 for my wife to run about in, you boys seem pretty happy with yours, as for me, I cant stop smiling every time I fire up my Zed (350Z)/ I am attracted to the idea of two coupes in the household, a practical one and one to kick butt in !!

Is there much to seperate the high power and low power version during normal driving?

I test drove a 350Z before ordering my 8.
I thought the Nissan was far too clumsy on the road, in that its just far too damn big for a two seater vehicle. It looks like someone took a compressed air line and shuved it up the exhaust pipe of an Audi TT, and the 350 was the result.
I must say though, the carbon fibre propshaft idea Nissan have employed is brilliant, there must be a weight saving of at least 25Kg there, almost the weight of a wheel !

The RX-8 Also has a 1 piece carbon fiber prop shaft.

And weight saving on that part is well worth it.

Only downside to them is if they get scratched or damaged they need replacing - and I dont think that'll be cheap.
